Here Comes Fall

I'm such a fan of changing seasons. God really knew what He was doing when he created all four of 'em. Just when I'm starting to grow tired of one, we ease into another. And I think it's one of the reasons I love the Pacific Northwest so much, because we really get EACH season. Right now, I'm loving these brisk days with sweaters and leaves and soccer games.

Olivia likes the soccer games, too. Here she is all bundled up in polar fleece watching Uncle Andrew play in his High School Varsity game. She gets to stay all cozy even when it's chilly. She says Uncle Andrew is the best soccer player she's ever seen. I told her he's a close second to one Mr. David Beckham.

*grin.

So Sunday is the first official day of Autumn! Before you know it, you'll be on a bumpy hayride, balancing a gallon of cider, the remains of a powdered doughnut, and a baby who's trying to put hay in her mouth. (source: Parenting Magazine.)

Ahhhh that reminds me, all my winter clothes are in storage. Yikes. It turned cold quick this year. I've got to get Mac some warmer clothes too! I guess I get to go shopping! :)
