This weekend, we decided to take Olivia on my parents boat. I was nervous because I didn't know if it would be bliss or a disaster. Would she be afraid of the water and the noise? Would she fight over having to wear a baby-life-jacket? Would she hold still long enough for me to slather her in SPF 50?

Sunscreen? Check. Cutest Life jacket ever? Check.

Did she enjoy the boat? YES! She was thrilled!

We can't wait to go again!

Okay, I found maybe another reason we should be friends. Where did you get your sunglasses? I think I have the EXACT same ones, only in pink. :) I'm wearing them in my zoo post.
Olivia is honestly so so so so so adorable. What a fun rite of passage for her! And good job getting it all on camera!
Fun!!!!!!! Boats are the best! My best friend and I used to spend a couple summers when we were teenagers on her uncle's houseboat, and would use it to go over and visit Friday Harbor and Orcas Island. Oh, how I miss water! Now I'm stuck in Colorado with not a beach in sight! *tear*
looks like so much fun! i just love her chunky monkey cheeks! so stinking sweet!
Hi Sarah. My name is Noell and I listen to you everyday! Yuor station is such a joy to listen to.
Well, I thought I'd finally send you a note to say that I have an Olivia too! She's 10 months and walking everywhere. It's exhausting trying to keep up! I work full time in downtown Seattle while my mom watches Olivia in our home. What a blessing to have family close so that we don't have to put her in daycare!
Again, I enjoy listening to you daily. Your energy and spirit really give a boost to a lot of people! Thank you!
