When I was a little girl, my mom said I had a favorite saying: "Do by self, Mama. I do by self."
Enter Olivia. She's the same. She only wants to feed herself; no help accepted. I try and spoon food into her mouth and she waves her little hands and shakes her head. She can't talk yet, but I know in her mind she's saying "No Mama. I can do by self."
I'm going to start reading that book, something about a strong willed child. :-)
- oh and by the way - less than three weeks until she turns one!!!!!!!!

Thanks for asking! I'm doing fine, just anxiously awaiting her arrival. We have 4 days until she is due!
